Black Friday Sadness

I've decided I really don't like black friday. The stores get your hopes up with all the great deals but you have to act like an animal in order to get those deals. I had my eye on a 7 1/2 Ft. Christmas tree at Home Depot on sale for $50.00 and I was so excited to have it in my home and get it all decorated. My mother-in-law and I went out on Friday morning and we got to the store 7 minutes after it opened only to find that the tree was already sold out. I wasn't even about to set foot in Wal-mart for their good deals but I did try to buy my husband the X-box 360 with guitar hero online; of course those were sold out just as soon as the clock struck midnight. As poor as I am right now with me student teaching and not working I am not poor enough to camp out in the freezing cold to save a few bucks. Oh well I guess I'll just have to try my luck at the after Christmas sales. Hopefully by next year I will have my tree.

After experiencing lots of peer pressure from friends and family, i've decided to be trendy and join the world of blogging! I'm sorry to say that our life right now is not super exciting - i'm just finishing student teaching and Ethan is applying for law school but we are very happy and figured we can keep everyone updated through this blog. It may take me awhile to figure everything out so don't give up on me too early :)
